The stu­dio team con­sists of spe­cia­li­sed tech­ni­ci­ans, archi­tects, artists, art his­to­ri­ans, cooks, and admi­nis­tra­tors. We work with Eli­as­son to expe­ri­ment, deve­lop, and install art­works, pro­jects, and exhi­bi­ti­ons as well as to com­mu­ni­cate and con­tex­tua­lise his work. We’re a fast-paced team that under­stands the impor­t­ance of slow, in-depth work. We hire highly skil­led team-play­ers, and we value crea­tive thin­kers and doers with a pas­sion for art.

Working field:

We are look­ing for stu­dents in the fields of archi­tec­ture, who are inter­ested in art pro­duc­tion and the trans­form­a­tion of research into real pro­jects. We seek highly motiv­ated team play­ers with a strong pas­sion for art and archi­tec­ture who are inter­ested in spend­ing a semester in the design depart­ment at Stu­dio Olafur Eli­asson in Ber­lin. We are look­ing for interns for a dur­a­tion of about 6 months.


  • Excel­lent design skills and sens­it­iv­ity for aes­thet­ics
  • Curi­os­ity and enthu­si­asm
  • Strong pro­fi­ciency in Rhino 3D and Adobe Suite (please spe­cify in CV)
  • Exper­i­ence in pro­gram­ming geo­met­ries (Grasshop­per)
  • Good Eng­lish skills (Ger­man skills are help­ful but not neces­sary)
  • Abil­ity to work inde­pend­ently, pre­cisely, and elab­or­ately
  • Abil­ity to think ana­lyt­ic­ally and con­cep­tu­ally
